Sit and Go Shark Frequently Asked Questions

What is Sit & Go Shark?

Sit & Go Shark is a sophisticated software tool developed by Roy Rounder
that virtually guarantees you instant success at online Sit and Go
tournaments. It is an advice engine that attaches to your online poker game,
watches what happens, and then gives you step-by-step customized advice
in every situation.

Sit & Go Shark is unique because it keeps track of all of the following critical
success factors: cards, positioning, table momentum, betting patterns, pot
odds, number of players, stack sizes and blinds. By taking all this into
account, the Shark is able to provide you with high-quality coaching and step-
by-step instruction for winning at Sit and Go tournaments.

Is Sit & Go Shark legal to use in the online poker rooms?

Since the program doesn't keep a record of your play or "spy" on other
players, it is 100% legal to use. You never need to worry about getting
"booted" for using this software.

Can I use Sit & Go Shark on play money as well as real money tables?

Yes, you can use Sit & Go Shark on both types of tables. Although it will
certainly give you accurate information on your own hand, the advice that Sit
& Go Shark gives you may be skewed in play money games. This is because
Sit & Go Shark assumes your opponents know how to play Texas Holdem,
and are not playing recklessly. In play money games where no one has
anything to lose, people play more recklessly.

How does Sit & Go Shark calculates odds?

Many people think that Sit & Go Shark calculates the poker odds by
randomly dealing the outcome many times, and averaging out the results (i.e.
the Monte Carlo method). This is partially true, but it is not nearly enough in
the game of poker: a Texas Hold Em player who has stayed in while others
have folded no longer can be considered to have any old random hand. For
this reason Sit & Go Shark uses a proprietary predictive algorithm to give
weight to your opponents' poker hands, and determines the probability that
you will have the best hand at the River using that algorithm. Advice is given
based on this probability, and adjusted according to your position in relation
to the dealer button.

Sit & Go Shark also
calculates Pot Odds, which are a critical factor in skillful,
high-percentage poker. They're mathematically complex and quite confusing
for most people, but they essentially work like this: If the money you can win
in a pot - compared to a ratio of how much you need to put in and the odds
of hitting your hand - will more than make up for all the times you might lose,
you should call. In other words, if you make that same play over and over,
you'll come out ahead in the long run. Sit & Go Shark provides all the basic
hand odds (even improving on the basics) PLUS pot odds so you don't make
isolated - and costly - plays based on hand odds alone.

What operating systems will run Sit & Go Shark?

Sit & Go Shark runs on Microsoft XP and Vista. MAC OS9 and OSX are not
currently supported.

Customer Reviews

"I think the SNG Shark is a very useful tool. I follow its advice probably 95-
98% of the time. In 7 games of using the Shark, so far I have finished in the
money five times, three of which were WINS!!!

Today, I used my winnings to move up from the $5 tables to the $20 tables
to get a feel for them and won my first $20 game. There were 20 entrants, so
I won $160. My initial bankroll of $40 has grown to $240 - six times what I
started with in only seven games! Again, awesome tool (not to be confused
with a crutch).

My game has improved drastically through using this tool and I would
definitely recommend it to anyone. If you lose money with this tool, you
probably aren't doing something right!"

I can't say enough about Sit and Go Shark. I would also like to say thank you
to all your staff. Sit and Go Shark is exactly what our business has been
lacking.
