Overall Rating: 7.8
PokerRoom.com is the world's leading no-dowload poker room. They offer a
unique design and attract good player traffic. PokerRoom.com is one of the
best poker rooms for Mac users, who can play without any special software
installs. Site traffic is highly concentrated to Hold'em games and their
tournaments.
Player competition tends to be rather soft, but their higher stakes games
have some good players. Overall, there are many full ten-player hold'em
games which are quite soft and the trend for competition is good.

The rake at PokerRoom.com is in line with the competition. Generally, a 5%
rake, with a $1 - $3 cap is the rule. Shorthanded games have an
abbreviated cap to allow for more play. A "No Flop, No Drop" policy makes
PokerRoom.com an excellent choice with respect to the rake collected. Caps

Frequent Player Points
What are Player Points?
You earn player points through playing games for real money on
PokerRoom.com. The points can be used for collecting various bonuses,
qualifying for special tournaments and claiming freeroll tournament cash
prizes.
How do I earn Player Points?
You earn player points through playing nearly all of the games for real money
at PokerRoom.com. Playing any of their poker games as well as Black Jack,
Caribbean Pirate Poker, Video Poker, Jackpot Slots, Baccarat, and Let It Ride
will earn you points.
How can I use my Player Points?
1. Trade in your Player Points for cash bonuses
2. Buy Tournament Tickets with Player Points
3. Player Points Freeroll
4. Player Points Payback - Earn free cash by collecting Player Points
How many points do I earn?
Hold'em, Omaha, 7 Card Stud
0.07 Player Points are awarded for every $0.10 paid in rake. So a rake of $3
will award all players in the hand 2.1 Player Points.
Tournaments
5 player points are awarded for every paid dollar in entry fee (real money
tournaments). For example, if you enter a $20+2 tournament, you will be
awarded 5 * $2 = 10 points, if you enter a $5+$0.50 tournament, you will be
awarded 5*$0.50 = 2.5 points. The points are awarded when the
tournament finishes.
Software and Playability
PokerRoom.com has a high-end software with its clean, sleek graphics, multi
platform compatibility and reliability in uptime, etc. On the negative side,
many players do not like the "playability" on PokerRoom.com, as it does not
lend itself well to multi-table play (buttons too close, easy to time out, hard
to see winning hand, etc). Another nice feature is hand match up
percentages in all-in situations during play. The lobby information is a little
tricky to use, as you need to click on each table to get the full statistics.
Recently added in the software update autumn 2005 is a lobby chat where all
players logged in can share thoughts. PokerRoom also allow all their players
to download poker games for mobile phones, called "Mobile poker". The
software allows players the option to create private tournaments where you
can choose your own buy-in, starting time etc. A nice feature is that you can
create Team Tournaments where teams consisting of five to 10 players are
created by a "Team Manager" and can participate in leagues.
The traffic at peak hours is approximately 9,000 real money ring games
players. The high limit tables in particular have grown very much since last
year. The traffic at the tournaments at peak hours reaches currently around
45,000 real money players. There are big daily free rolls, which draw very
large crowds. From our experience there are quite a few more soft games
available at PokerRoom since the big marketing push in the summer 2004
and their good positioning in search engines like Google.
Features
- Statistics - Easy to use statistics report that can be filtered by game
type and tournament stats.
- Player Notes - Taking notes make recalling information about certain
players and their styles very easy.

clubs and companies can meet up for a game of high-intense

Cash Rewards.
