PartyPoker offers software which is rather good and they have updated
their platform as recently as February of 2006. Playability rates very well,
although the graphics are not some of the best in the industry. The software
is quite fast, and fairly easy to use. They offer a player notes feature as well
as instant hand history statistics. Some new features include the option to
play blackjack in the same software, side bets, and deal making in
tournaments.

Player competition is quite soft when compared to other online poker rooms.
They seem to draw and maintain a constant stream of beginner players and
a lot of loose players that we would label as "gamblers". Overall, the games
at PartyPoker are easier than most sites, though the games are a bit more
difficult than in previous years.

PartyPoker maintains an aggressive advertising and marketing campaign and
their traffic is at some of the highest levels of any online poker room. Recent
traffic statistics show that approximately 14,000 real money players
participate in their ring games during peak periods. Tournament traffic at
Party Poker is also very strong and can boast the highest tournament
statistics of any online poker room. They offer the most fixed limit
tournaments by far and there are many no-limit, Omaha and Stud
