UB.com Response in Reaction to Recent Seizure of Domain

We have received a statement from our affiliate manager at UB.com:

Currently the information I have on the AP / UB situation is US players are blocked from registering and US players cannot make a deposit, withdraw or transfer from their accounts.

As for your affiliates links right now we are in the process of moving our affiliate links to a different server which will allow the affiliates and their current links to continue to be active and tracking to our new websites. www.absolutepoker.eu and www.ubpoker.eu. However, please note that US traffic will be blocked from registering.

We will keep you updated on this ongoing situation.

Ultimate Poker (UB.com) Online Championship Tournament Schedule

UBOC 5 will begin on August 18th, 2010 at Ultimate Poker (UB.com) and will feature a $1 million guaranteed tournament. UBOC 5 also will include over $4 million in prize pools, 20 individual events including all the popular poker variations like Hold’em, Omaha, HORSE, Heads-Up and more.

UB’s Online Championship will award bonus prizes of up to a million dollars – just for cashing. There will also be extra contests for cash, freeroll entries and more. There will also be a Team UB host for each event.

The 2009 World Series of Poker Kicks off at Rio in Las Vegas

The 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) began on May 27th. The first event is a $500 buy-in Casino Employees No Limit Holdem tournament. Event #2 is the 40th Annual No Limit Holdem tournament which features a $40,000 buy-in.

Event #1 is a two day event and Event #2 is a four day event. Results for each of these tournament will be posted as soon as results become available.

The 2009 WSOP Main Event will begin on July 3rd and will run through July 15th when the tournament gets down to 9 players. The final table players will become the next November Nine and will resume play in November of 2009.
