High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT) is Sending 10 Women to the $1K Ladies Event During the World Series

HIGH HEELS POKER TOUR IS PROUD TO BE SENDING 10 WOMEN TO THE $1K LADIES EVENT AT THE RIO

Ft. Lauderdale (May 27, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is gearing up for the biggest yearly event in poker at the WSOP. This year HighHeelsPokerTour is sending 10 women to the $1,000 Ladies Event on June 11th @ The Rio. 5 of the women are coming from Jacksonville Kennel Club, 3 from Tampa Bay Downs, 1 from Turning Stone Resort Casino and one still left to be given away. HHPT is so proud to be able to bring these women to the World Series, many of whom it will be there first appearance at this prestigious event.

HHPT is hosting a Hospitality Suite during the World Series at The Rio in Braisila 5. This is the first time there will be a Hospitality Suite dedicated to the Female Poker Player and the companies that support them. The suite will be open June 9th -11th from 10am-10pm daily. Also on June 10th the High Heels Poker Tour Academy will be having their annual Ladies Academy with 6 Poker Pros. The Academy is being held at Planet Hollywood @ 9am; tuition $495. The summer schedule is jam packed with events all over the United States. On June 10th @ Hard Rock Las Vegas HHPT will be sponsoring a sit-n-go extravaganza for seats to the $1k Ladies Event held @ The RIO on June 11th. Then on June 12th HHPT heads back to the Hard Rock Las Vegas to close out Ladies Week with a Ladies Event co-sponsored by HHPT and Pink Ladies Poker Tour. In July, HHPT is headed to Gold Strike in Tunica, MS on July 24th. August will take HHPT to Orange Park Kennel Club in Jacksonville, FL on the 21st, Turning Stone Resort Casino and the Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, MS on Aug, 28th.

HHPT gears up for spring schedule

Ft. Lauderdale (May 4, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is gearing up for their spring schedule. The second of many events this spring is at Harrah’s in New Orleans, LA. The HHPT will co-sponsor the ladies event #18 no-limit hold’em on May 19th at 12 pm. The buy-in for this event is $340. This event is part of the World Series of Poker Circuit Event held yearly at Harrah’s New Orleans.

The spring schedule is jam packed with events all over the United States. May 15th has the HHPT going to Turning Stone, NY; May 19th to Harrah’s New Orleans for the WSOP Circuit Event; and Jacksonville, FL May 22nd & 23rd for an HHPTAcademy and WSOP Ladies Event Satellite. In June HHPT will be heading to Vegas for the World Series. June 9th-11th HHPT will be hosting a hospitality suite at the RIO All Suites. High Heels Poker Tour Ladies Event Results from Gold Strike

CONGRATULATES DEB HARDWICK ON TAKING 1ST PLACE AT GOLD STRIKE

Ft. Lauderdale (March 2, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is extremely proud to announce that Deb Hardwick, has taken the title of the Gold Strike’s Delta Poker Classic Ladies Event.

The 1-day event was a $230 buy-in that began Saturday, January 16th at 11 am. There were 66 women who played in this year’s event bringing the prize pool to $12,715. The field was nearly double from 2009, this was HHPT first visit to Gold Strike. In the end it was Deb Harwick who took first place along with the $4,611. This was Deb’s first ladies event win at the Gold Strike. Third place finisher Peg Ledman has cashed in several ladies events including the WSOP Satellite at New Orleans. Another player of note was 10th place finisher Donna Jetter, a graduate of High Heels Poker Tour Academy, who was the 2010 WSOP Ladies Event winner at Harrah’s.

High Heels Poker Tour Has Fantastic Showing at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure

Ft. Lauderdale (January 29, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is extremely proud to announce that Diane Linke, not only a member of HHPT but also a graduate of High Heels Poker Tour Academy, has taken 1st place during the $300 Ladies Event on Sunday, January 10th. Diane’s success came just one day after taking High Heels Poker Tour Academy’s course taught by Vanessa Russo. Diane qualified for this event through a free-roll tournament sponsored by PokerStars.net, All-In Free Poker, and High Heels Poker Tour. She made it to the final table with just one chip and found herself the big blind forced all in on the first hand she won that hand and went on one crazy rollercoaster ride to win her way to the PCA.

It was Vanessa Russo who took 1st place in the $1100 Ladies Event after teaching a High Heels Poker Tour Academy course. Fighting her way through an extremely tough field of women she was in good company with poker pros such as: JJ Liu, Shirley Rosario, Katja Thater, Annette Obrestad, Veronica Dabul, Sandra Naujoks, Maria Mayrinck, and Lisa Adams. This was the first Ladies event held at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and had an amazing 91 women enter, only 33 of them qualified online the other 58 shelled out the $1100 at their chance of being the first woman to win a title at the PCA. Vanessa took home $24,725 for the 2-day event but was most excited about the trophy that also came along with 1st place, “I’m very glad I won with all of my 1st place finishes I have never won a trophy, I am so excited to put it up in my house.”

High Heels Poker Tour’s Very Own Linda Keenan Takes 1st Place at the Beau Rivage

Ft. Lauderdale (January 29, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is extremely proud to announce that Linda Keenan, not only a member of HHPT but also a graduate of High Heels Poker Tour Academy, has taken the title of the Beau Rivage’s Southern Poker Championship Ladies Event.

The 2-day event was a $340 buy-in that began Saturday, January 16th at 2 pm. There were 127 women who played in this year’s event bringing the prize pool to $36,957. In the end it was Linda Keenan who took first place along with the $12,197. Since Linda attended the High Heels Poker Tour Academy’s Las Vegas course she has cashed at the 2009 WSOP Ladies Event and took 1st place at the Southern Poker Championship bringing her tournament winnings to 14,562.
