Lauderdale (February 22, 2011) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East Coast, is continuing it’s 2011 schedule at the Silks poker room at Tampa Bay Downs this Saturday. The HHPT is having a satellite tournament for the Ladies World Poker Classic, which will be held on the NEW Allure of the Seas September 18-25.

The $2500 package will include a cruise for 2, entry into the LWPC, cash and all port charges and taxes. In conjunction with www.cardplayercruises.com, the HHPT is preparing to have the first ever ladies event of this magnitude on the high seas. HHPT is at the 2010 Bayou Poker Challenge in New Orleans

HIGH HEELS POKER TOUR IS PART OF THE 2010 BAYOU POKER CHALLENGE, WSOP SATELLITE LADIES EVENT ON DECEMBER 12TH AT HARRAH’S NEW ORLEANS

Ft. Lauderdale (DECEMBER 3, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East Coast, is winding down it’s 2010 schedule at Harrah’s New Orleans. The HHPT will have a presence at the annual 2010 Bayou Poker Challenge WSOP Satellite Ladies no-limit hold’em event on December 12th at 12 noon. The buy-in for this event is $175. The Ladies will receive 7,000 and 30 min blinds.

The New Year schedule is busy with events all over the United States. January is full of events with locations from the Bahamas for the PCA to the Beau Rivage for the Southern Poker Championship then on to Jacksonville, FL for the Chad Brown Poker Invitational Ladies Event on the 22nd of January. HHPT is Attending the Southern Women’s Show October 21st – 24th

HIGH HEELS POKER TOUR IS PARTICIPATING AT THIS YEAR’S SOUTHERN WOMEN’S SHOW OCTOBER 21st-24th

Ft. Lauderdale (October 1, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, in continuing its 2010 schedule with participation in the hugely successful Southern Women’s Show in Jacksonville, FL. The HHPT is going to shows like this to help support women and bring more women who want to learn or who currently play and opportunity to be involved in the HHPT organization. The HHPT will be set up at Booth #511 to share information, sell merchandise, and much more. Orange Park Kennel Club who is sponsoring the booth, will be there handing out information, fun introductory poker lessons, give-a-ways and have drawings for free-roll buy-ins to the HHPT Ladies Event. The HHPT Ladies Event is on Saturday, Oct 23rd at Orange Park Kennel Club at 1pm with a $150 buy-in. The women’s show will run from Oct 21st-24th, with doors opening at 10am and Sunday at 11am. Lauderdale (September 10, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East Coast, is continuing it’s 2010 schedule at Wildhorse Resort Casino in Pendleton, OR. The HHPT have a presence at the annual Fall Round Up Ladies no-limit hold’em event on November 8th at 2:30 pm. The buy-in for this event is $165. The Ladies will receive 10,000 units.

The Summer/Fall schedule is busy with events all over the United States. In September, on the 25th the HHPT is going to Hallandale, FL at Mardi Gras Casino. Lauderdale (June 8, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is proud to announce that HHPT and its CEO/Founder Lauren Failla have been nominated for 2 awards; the International Women In Gaming Awards and for Best Poker Tour, a Maven Award. The inaugural International Women in Gaming Awards has been created to highlight the exceptional women working in land based and internet gaming industry, role models that show it is an industry that offers exciting career opportunities for women on both a nation and global basis. Her nomination is for Star of the Future, which this award will go to the woman whose energy, ambition and generosity of spirit represents the positive future of the gaming industry.

Lauren’s journey to bring more women to the poker table really took a huge stride when she launched High Heels Poker Tour in the fall of 2007. HHPT travels the US, Caribbean, and Canada bringing more and more women to the felt with each ladies tournament. Since HHPT’s launch she has also started the ONLY Women’s only poker academy with partner poker pro Lisa Adams. High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT) is Sending 10 Women to the $1K Ladies Event During the World Series

HIGH HEELS POKER TOUR IS PROUD TO BE SENDING 10 WOMEN TO THE $1K LADIES EVENT AT THE RIO

Ft. Lauderdale (May 27, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is gearing up for the biggest yearly event in poker at the WSOP. This year HighHeelsPokerTour is sending 10 women to the $1,000 Ladies Event on June 11th @ The Rio. 5 of the women are coming from Jacksonville Kennel Club, 3 from Tampa Bay Downs, 1 from Turning Stone Resort Casino and one still left to be given away. HHPT is so proud to be able to bring these women to the World Series, many of whom it will be there first appearance at this prestigious event.

HHPT is hosting a Hospitality Suite during the World Series at The Rio in Braisila 5. This is the first time there will be a Hospitality Suite dedicated to the Female Poker Player and the companies that support them. The suite will be open June 9th -11th from 10am-10pm daily. The buy-in for this event is $190. HHPT will be raffling off to ONE lucky winner, a seat to the Ladies Event @ The RIO in June during the World Series along with money for travel expenses.

The spring schedule is jam packed with events all over the United States. May 15th has the HHPT going to Turning Stone, NY; May 19th to Harrah’s New Orleans for the WSOP Circuit Event; and May 22nd & 23rd for an HHPTAcademy and WSOP Ladies Event Satellite. High Heels Poker Tour Making Women’s Presence Known at the 2010 WSOP

Ft. Lauderdale, FL (April 8, 2010) – The High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT) will be hosting the first ever hospitality suite devoted specifically to women’s poker during the WSOP Ladies week June 9th-11th. During the three days HHPT along with other female focused poker companies and organizations will be catering to the women who come to the WSOP; located in Brasila 5 at the RIO Hotel and Suites in Las Vegas. Women will be able to come and interact with the HHPTA Poker Pros, relax and enjoy refreshments, network with other players, and explore some of the corporations and organizations that cater to or are owned by women. Some of the organizations and corporations participating are; PMS PokerWear.com, PokerJetsetter.com, Card Player Cruises, Susie Isaacs books and products, Pink Ladies PT and others.

The hospitality suite will be open from 10am-10pm for the three days and is complimentary. It will be closed to the public on June 10th until 5pm when the HighHeelsPokerTour Academy will be offering their annual Ladies Academy in preparation for the $1,000 Ladies Event held the following day at the RIO.

This is the first time an organization has focused on the women who play poker during poker’s most prestigious event season. Women are the fastest growing poker demographic and are ready to be heard, seen, and respected as a force to be reckoned with in the poker community.

HIGH HEELS POKER TOUR IS PART OF THE SPRING BREAK POKER CLASSIC LADIES EVENT ON MARCH 28th AT BEAU RIVAGE RESORT AND CASINO

Ft. Lauderdale (March 12, 2010) – The HighHeelsPokerTour (HHPT), the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East coast, is starting 2010 at the Beau Rivage. The HHPT will co-sponsor the ladies no-limit hold’em event on March 28th at 4 pm. The buy-in for this event is $230. This event is part of the Spring Break Poker Classic held yearly at the Beau Rivage Casino Resort.

The spring schedule is busy with events all over the United States and Caribbean. In March, HHPT will be at The Isle Capri Casino at Pompano Park as part of their “Battle at the Beach” series. April will bring HHPT to Tampa, FL. May has HHPT going to Turning Stone in Verona, NY, New Orleans for the WSOP Circuit Event, and Orange Park in Jacksonville, FL. Then we are off to Vegas for the WSOP.
