Event #2 of the 2010 World Series of Poker concluded on June 1st after 5 days of play. This was the $50,000 buy-in Player’s Championship event which featured a mixed game format.
The final table consisted of three former WSOP gold bracelet winners with John Juanda (4 wins), Daniel Alaei (2 wins), and Robert Mizrachi (1 win). Final table play began eight-handed due to the mix of games played the previous four days.
The winner of Event #2 is Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi of Miramar, Florida who beat Vladimir Schmelev heads-up to win the $1,559,046 first place prize. Michael Mizrachi also received his first WSOP gold bracelet as well as the Chip Reese Memorial Trophy.
