Jonathan Duhamel 2010 WSOP Main Event Champion
When Duhamel started the final table he had a decisive advantage with 6:1 chip lead over runner-up John Racener. John Racener, an America poker pro, showed heart and lasted 40 hands in the heads-up match for the title. In the end, he could not overcome such a huge chip disadvantage.
On the final hand, Racener was all-in with Kd-8d and was beaten by Duhamel’s As-Jh. The board gave no help to either player and Duhamel won the hand with ace-high.
There were a total of 7,319 entries into the 2010 WSOP Main Event, which costs $10,000 to enter. The total prize pool was $68,798,600.
