22-Year-Old Student Playing Third Tournament Wins
Last Chance Event

Council Bluffs, IA — Derrick Reinhart, a 22-year-old finance student from Lincoln, Nebraska,
playing only his third tournament, won the “Last Chance” $300 no-limit event. It was the
24th and final tournament in the WSOP Circuit tour at Horseshoe Council Bluffs and had 46
players and a $13,386 prize pool.

Reinhart’s win paid $6,023. He took down the final hand when his pocket 8s held up
against Barry Fleming’s K-6.

Reinhart says A-J is his least favorite hand. It caused him to be knocked out in a
tournament here last year when he ran into A-K.

Finishing second for $3,347 was Barry Fleming, 31, who is from Omaha and self-employed.

Finishing third for $2,008 was Michelle Meyers, 34, a real estate agent from Council Bluffs.

Finishing fourth for $1.339 was Tim Sciscoe, 52, a goat herder from Omaha.

Finishing fifth for $669 was Raymond Rife, 24,from Omaha.
