as the lowest stack at this final table.

poker player.

Gavin Griffin
Orange, CA
390,500
Gavin Griffin is a pro poker player from Orange County, CA.  He won a gold
bracelet at the 2004 World Series of Poker, and at the time was the
youngest event winner in the history of the World Series.  Mr. Grfffin originally
set out to be a professional baseball player and would probably at least be in
the minor leagues had he chosen a different college than the one he
attended.  Instead, Mr. Griffin arrives today with major league money, ranked
second in the chip count.

than average in chips.

Peter Feldman
Harper Woods, MI
444,000
Peter Feldman is a poker professional from Harper Woods, MI.  He won the
$10,000 buy-in championship event at Harrah’s New Orleans in 2006.  Should
he win today, he would become the first-ever two-time main event winner on
the World Series of Poker Circuit.  He is well on his way to making history, as
the current chip leader.
Seat 7:
Hometown:
Chip Count:
David Matthew
Toronto, Ontario (Canada)
119,500
David Matthew is one of two Canadians sitting at today’s final table.  He is a

finishes on his tournament resume, including second place in the $25,000
buy-in main event at the Bellagio last year.  He was also 10th at the most
recent championship event at the Borgata, in Atlantic City.
Seat 8:
Hometown:
Chip Count:
Gavin Smith
Las Vegas, NV

Gavin Smith is the class clown and court jester of the poker world.  He has
rocketed up from oblivion in the wilderness of Canada to poker
superstardom.  The 38-year-old man-child now lives in Las Vegas.  Mr. Smith
was the 2005 Player of the Year in tournament poker, due to several high
finishes and cashes -- including first-place at the Mirage in Las Vegas where
he won a million dollars.  He also finished second to Peter Feldman – sitting in
Seat 6 -- at last year’s Harrah’s New Orleans poker championship.  Mr. Smith
has quite an obstacle to overcome today, as he arrives seventh in the chip
count.
